b'Detroit Public LibraryDetroit, MIStuart Mechanical is completing a design-build upgrade to six air handling units (AHUs) at the Detroit Public Librarys main library. The work includes installing new isolation valves, control valves, strainers, bypass valves, steam traps, and piping specialties for both steam and chilled water coils on AHUs N3, N7, E2, S1, S4, and S5.Stuart is also providing re-insulation for piping and air handler housings, along with new supply and return fan motors, mounting bases, and bearings. To modernize building controls, we are installing two JACE 9000 controllersone in each penthousewith a 25-device license and 5-year software maintenance agreement, as well as new damper actuators and system sensors for select AHUs.These upgrades will improve system reliability, efficiency, and overall comfort throughout the facility.Detroit Public Library 53'
